ORG is an SEC Registered Investment Adviser pursuant to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended.
ORG was founded in 1999 by Jonathan Berns and Edward Schwartz to provide real estate consulting and advisory services to institutional, high-net worth and family office clients. ORG is a successor company to Berns Properties, Inc., a real estate development and consulting firm founded by Mr. Berns in 1984. Since 1984, ORG has accumulated a diverse portfolio of real estate investment properties located in Northeast Ohio.
In 2005, ORG principals formed a separate consulting entity, dedicated exclusively to real estate and real assets investment consulting services. The considerable knowledge, skill and hands-on real estate experience attained through the principals’ successfully run real estate portfolio uniquely complements the consulting advice provided to institutional clients.
In 2023, David Morton, Principal, joined ORG to found and lead the ORG full-service investment consulting initiative for new and existing clients. ORG’s full-service investment consulting offers a wide range of investment advisory services, encompassing market analysis, asset allocation analysis, investment manager search and selection, investment idea generation, performance reporting, risk management, client education and in-house trading capabilities.
ORG’s global headquarters is located in Cleveland, Ohio with offices in Columbus, Ohio, Weston, Connecticut and Cortez, Colorado.
